What is Lughet?

Lughet is the largest free Uyghur dictionary online, covering nearly five million entries across Uyghur (also spelled Uighur, Arabic script), Simplified Chinese with Pinyin, and English. It is the largest freely available digital resource for the Uyghur language.

The dataset includes general vocabulary, place names, personal names, technical and scientific terminology, legal and regulatory terms, idiomatic phrases, and Pinyin romanization for all Chinese headwords.

Entries are drawn from over ten source dictionaries and corpora, curated for quality and coverage across all three language pairs.
